E-dealing consultancy

The Property Law Section believes that all property lawyers should embrace the business opportunities provided by Landonline by using electronic searching and particularly using e-dealing (electronic registration). The NZLS endorses that stance.

Information about the journey to 100% e-lodgement is available on the Landonline website.

A consultant has been appointed part-time to assist the profession and its staff adopt and adapt to e-dealing. The purpose of the NZLS appointment is to complement LINZ's 0800, online help, website-based support and its training offered to law firms.

Our consultant is there to help you with advice and assistance with the conveyancing and practical property law issues which sit alongside e-dealing.

There are already a number of documents available to assist. If you have not seen them, or are not using them, look at them now:

To contact the NZLS e-dealing consultant, send an email to e-dealing.consultant@lawyers.org.nz or phone 0800 885 510.
