Guidelines for application of voidable transaction provisions of the Companies Act 1993

These guidelines were first published in LawTalk 516, 6 April 1999. While they are still relevant, it should be noted that the Insolvency Law Reform Bill, currently before Parliament's Commerce Committee, makes changes to the voidable transactions regime. That bill is due to be reported by 20 August 2006 and when it is passed, these guidelines will need to be amended.
